Inge Weiss , IBM Corporation
Inge Weiss is a software engineer in the Application Development Tools Center at the IBM Canada Toronto Laboratory. She has a degree in Computer Science from the University in Hamburg, Germany. Inge worked as a systems engineer for mid-range systems at IBM Germany and joined the IBM Canada Toronto Laboratory in 1985. She has worked on different projects but spent most of the time in the System i tools area. Inge is a frequent speaker at COMMON and user group conferences and has published a series of articles on WebSphere Development Studio.

Introduction to Screen Designer and Application Diagram
Rational Developer for System i (RDi) now includes the graphical Application Diagram and Screen Designer tools previously only shipped in the advanced edition of WDSC. The Application Diagram creates diagrams that represent the structure of RPG, COBOL and CL applications; providing both a call graph view and an ILE bindings view. The Screen Designer Technology Preview provides a graphical, point and click way to design DDS display files.
This session provides a demonstration of the many current and upcoming features of the Application Diagram and Screen Designer, including their seamless integration with the latest RDi tools, such as the Remote Systems Lpex editor. |
